Book review: Autonomy, Kathy D’Arcy (2018)

Last month I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at Kathy D’Arcy’s much anticipated new book ‘Autonomy’. A collection of poetry/essays/memoirs/poems which was published by New Binary Press, and explores themes of bodily autonomy in conjunction with the Repeal movement.

“If a person does not have the right to decide what happens to her own body, if she does not have the right to determine what medical intervention is acceptable, her very personhood is undermined” (Furedi, 2018)
